We are setting goals in first grade! 3. Reading encompasses many different skill areas including decoding, fluency and comprehension. One important thing to think about when determining goals and objectives is what you already expect your students to know at the beginning of each grade level or when you start a new unit. So, I wanted to share my example of measurable goals for reading comprehension and some tips for writing them.
